Keep your friends and loved ones close with this customizable fingerprint keychain. All you have to do is send us a photo of the fingerprint you would like to use, and we will have it laser-etched onto the keychain and made into a lasting momento.
All fingerprints are stored only on one computer and deleted once the order is complete and items have been shipped.
We have been able to successfully restore some fingerprints that are sent of a loved one who has passed and has only a light marking to share, so feel free to reach out to us with pictures that you may believe are difficult to decipher. Each order is handled with care by our resident artist/assistant Kristen who will work diligently to restore the shape of the print in order to ensure product quality.
Capture your Mark:
Step 1: Grab a pencil and a white piece of paper
Step 2: Lay down a thick layer of graphite on the paper
Step 3: Smudge your finger of choice all over the graphite
Step 4: Imprint the finger on a piece of tape – sticky side to finger
Step 5: Stick the tape onto a new, clean white piece of paper
Step 6: Captures as many quality photos as you think is necessary
Step 7: Send the photos to us through an Etsy private message

Each Keychain goes through the same steps, so we can ensure consistency and quality
1. We pick out a beautiful piece of 1/8” Alder Solid Wood to be transformed
2. The piece is aligned in our laser cutter and tuned-in
3. The laser cutter engraves the design, then cuts out the shape of the keychain
4. We remove the wood from the laser cutter and carefully inspect every detail to make sure the whole design is visible
5. Tung Oil is applied the face of the Keychain and left to dry for 6+ hours
6. We complete a final inspection of the product to ensure no rough edges or smudgy spots – making sure everything meets or exceeds our standards
7. The finished Keychain is stored in a controlled zone, hanging with it keychain buddies until it’s sent to you!

Using the laser cutter to create fun designs is always a pleasure. (Safely) watching the laser as it etches is so enjoyable, and being able to turn a raw piece of wood into something memorable is a real treat.
